Mike Esau is a founding Director of Pi Associates, and PSMW OD Network consultant. He is a qualified public sector accountant. His background is in financial management in local government followed by an academic career in public finance, strategy and business planning. Working in the UK and internationally in business planning, evaluation and human resource capacity development he has extensive experience in managing and direct delivery of accredited leadership and management training programmes.

Michael Jones is a founding Director of Pi and PSMW OD Network consultant. He is an international expert in healthcare leadership and management. His background is in health management and planning in the UK NHS. Formerly, Mike worked as an academic working in health planning at post-graduate level, latterly engaged in consulting worldwide and as visiting Professor of Health Organisation at Middlesex University Business School and Senior Lecturer at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine

Steve Kuhlmann is a founding Director of Pi Associates, and PSMW OD Network consultant. He is an expert in developing interpersonal skills for senior leaders. His background was as a Human Resources Director for both public and private sector organisations followed by an academic career and consultant for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Working in the UK and Europe in leadership development he is a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield School of Management and has delivered senior executive leadership programmes for more than 20 major UK companies.

Ian Cripwell is an affiliate of Pi Associates and a health service management expert. His background career was in NHS management, planning and quality development settings in the UK and Wales to CEO level. He has worked in international consultancy in hospital management and reform and has considerable expertise managing change in service optimisation.

Hywel Evans is an affiliate of Pi Associates and PSMW OD Network consultant. He is an expert in coaching and facilitating the development of organisations in the public and third sectors. His background is in strategic and practical aspects of economic development and regeneration, having considerable experience of working with public sector and third sector organisations, latterly as founder and Chief Executive of "Menter a Busnes", the economic and social development organisation. He has worked with individuals, organisations, boards of directors, management teams and partnerships. He also has considerable expertise in mainstreaming the Welsh language and can deliver services bilingually.

Howard Jones is an affiliate of Pi Associates and is an expert in the Investors in People Standard. His background is in marketing and communications in the media industry and he is a management and leadership development consultant specialising in effective communication. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is currently involved in a range of research projects and publications focusing on the learning and development of people.

Melanie Lessels is an affiliate of Pi Associates and PSMW OD Network consultant. Her background is in third sector and public sector management. She has specialist expertise and experience in the areas of equality and diversity development and mainstreaming and in the development of effective partnerships.  She has been working as an independent consultant since 2002 in the field of organisational development and diversity development.

Paula Palmer is an affiliate of Pi Associates, and PSMW OD Network consultant. She is an organisational psychologist. She has a background in NHS management is the Founding Principal Psychologist’ of the Association of Business and has developed leaders at the National Leadership and Innovations Agency for Health.

Arthur Turner is an affiliate of Pi Associates, and PSMW OD Network consultant. He is an expert in accredited ILM programmes. He has worked with several PSMW clients on OD Network projects and is a facilitator on the Connect4Cymru Programme He has a clinical nursing and management background in the NHS up to General Manager level. He works as a consultant and management training expert in the health and social care sector.

Terry Wright is an affiliate of Pi Associates and PSMW OD Network consultant. He is a Chartered Fellow of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Terry is also a qualified and experienced coach, mentor and facilitator and has many years’ experience as a Director of Human Resources in both the public and private sectors, working at a strategic and policy level.
